WHAT IS DROP SHIPPING?
Drop-shipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn’t keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product, it purchases the item from a third-party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the merchant never sees or handles the product.

The way it works is simple. Find a dropshipper (usually a manufacturer or supplier) who has a list of items they keep in stock. Get the catalog of items available. Once you receive an order, you contact the dropshipper and give them your customer’s details. The dropshipper will then send the order to the customer directly.

The only thing you need to do is find the right items and the right suppliers to grow your drop shipping business.
The key is to launch quickly and start thinking of ways to generate sales. This will eventually give you the opportunity to improve at other things.
How To Open A Drop Shipping Store With Shopify
Setting up a new Shopify store is very simple contrary to popular belief that it might be loaded with complications in terms of setting it up. Shopify offers a free 14-day trial to help get your started with building your store.
Here is a step by step guide on how to set up your personal Shopify store.
To launch your Shopify store, you must sign up for an account.
1. Sign Up with Shopify
To start, visit Shopify.com , click ‘start your free trial’, enter your store name, and create your shop.
Your store is now ready!
2. Start Setting Up Your Online Shop
Add Your Store Payment Option
Add your PayPal email address under the Shopify Settings, Payments Section. Later, you can change, remove, or add additional payment options.
If you don’t have a PayPal account, registration at PayPal.com will take about 5 minutes.
3. Customize the Look of Your Site
To do this, you’ll need to navigate back to the main dashboard. After doing this, click the “Customize the Look of Your Site” icon. This aspect requires you to personalize anything from colors to logos. This might require some tinkering, but the basic part you should lay emphasis on is the icon that takes you to “Visit Theme store”.
4. Add Your Products with the Oberlo App
Adding products is simple when you import AliExpress products via Oberlo App. Oberlo allows you to easily import products from AliExpress directly into your Shopify store and ship directly to your customers – in only a few clicks.
Visit the Shopify App Store by clicking “apps” in the lower left corner of the dashboard. Then click on “Visit The App Store” to select the Oberlo App and get started importing products from AliExpress right away!

5. Setup Your Domain
After choosing your template and design your site to your taste, it’s time to select a domain to make your website live and official.

Navigate back to the dashboard and click the icon“Add a Domain”. This inquires if you want to register a new one or transfer a domain. Choose your preferred domain and glance through the purchase steps.
P.S. You’ll need to confirm the domain before it starts working. The confirmation email is in your email inbox.
6. Launching Your Shopify Store
Content is extremely important. This is an area that you should focus on and spend more time on in the future.
However, the following sections should be enough to start with: About Us, Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Returns Policy, Shipping & Delivery Information, Track Your Order link, Contact Us.
To create a page, go to Shopify Online Store, Pages, and click Add Page.
Menus, or link lists, help your customers navigate around your online store.
You can also create drop-down menus for your online store.
Generate Required Policies
Shopify offers a handy tool for generating terms and conditions, standard privacy, and return policies. Just go to Shopify Settings, Checkout, and scroll down to the Refund, Privacy, and TOS statements section to generate each policy sample.
Free Shipping Rates
Oberlo App will offer most of the products with a free delivery option. So I suggest adding a free shipping rate for all of your orders, as well.
Go to Shopify Settings, Shipping, and delete all shipping zones that are “Domestic” and edit the ‘Rest of World’ to ‘Free International Shipping’ under ‘Price based rates’ Don’t forget to check off ‘Rate: Free shipping rate.’
Create an Online Store
Shopify allows you to sell your products across multiple channels like Online Store, Facebook Store, Brick and Mortar store, etc.
We want to create an Online store now. Go to Shopify Settings, Sales Channels and add Online Store as your sales channel if it hasn’t been added automatically.
7. Set Up Your Marketing Plan
You can build the most beautiful website in the world with the lowest prices, but if you don’t know how to get them to your site it doesn’t matter. You must have a marketing plan in place to generate traffic and attract customers!
